Features
- The Hubbell-Raco H72171KBAR is a heavy-duty, 4-inch square, 2-1/8 inch deep steel junction box pre-assembled with a dedicated T-Bar mounting bracket. It is engineered specifically for suspended (drop) ceilings, allowing you to mount an electrical box securely between two ceiling T-grid runners.
- The integrated bracket is a heavy-duty adjustable span (typically 24 inches) that clips directly onto the T-bar grid. It features a unique locking mechanism that allows the box to be positioned anywhere along the span. This is the professional standard for installing fire alarm strobes, emergency lighting, or sensors in commercial office spaces.
- This is a "Deep" box. This extra room is crucial for housing bulky components like GFCI receptacles, lighting ballasts, or large bundles of Cat6 data cables that require a specific bend radius to maintain performance.
- Dual-sized openings, they allow for either 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch conduit connections. This versatility means you don't need to swap boxes if the job site specs change from standard power conduit to larger data sleeves.
- The H72171KBAR is UL Listed and designed to meet the rigorous requirements of commercial construction.
