Features
- The Schneider Electric (Square D) QO330 is a 30-Amp, 3-pole miniature circuit breaker featuring the industry-standard QO plug-on mounting system. It is designed for instant installation into Square D QO load centers and NQ panelboards. The "dual-shield" design ensures a secure, vibration-resistant connection to the bus bar without the need for mounting screws or specialized tools.
- As a 3-pole breaker, the QO330 provides simultaneous overcurrent protection for 240V AC three-phase loads. With its 30-Amp rating, it is the common choice for protecting mid-sized HVAC compressors, commercial water heaters, and small industrial machine tools where reliable, triple-pole disconnection is required.
- Equipped with the patented Visi-TripTM red indicator, this breaker takes the guesswork out of troubleshooting. When the breaker trips due to a fault, a highly visible red flag appears in the window of the unit. This allows maintenance staff in Canadian commercial or industrial facilities to identify the problem circuit at a glance, significantly reducing downtime.
- The QO series is famous for its Quick-Open mechanism, which snaps the contacts open faster than standard breakers. This rapid response limits the "let-through" energy during a short circuit, protecting your downstream wiring and expensive three-phase equipment from the mechanical and thermal stresses of an electrical surge.
- Despite providing full three-phase protection, the QO330 occupies only 2.25 inches of space (three standard 3/4-inch QO slots). This high-density design allows you to maximize the number of circuits in your panelboard, making it an efficient choice for both new installations and system retrofits.
