Description

This VIRTU™ Analog Ultrasonic Proximity Sensor is part of the Hyde Park Ultrasonic Sensors product range. The sensor is resistant to dust, 100% humidity, most acids and bases, and high pressure wash-downs. It is virtually impervious to the effects of splashing food, caustic cleaning solutions, and changing light conditions or colors, making it ideal for many OEM applications and an array of packaging applications, including food and beverage. This ultrasonic sensor is a self contained, pulse-echo, analog sensing device that both transmits and receives sonic energy within an operating range of 2in (50.8mm) to 20in (508mm) with a configurable sensing window. The response time is 50ms. The sensor accepts 15VDC to 24VDC power and has an auto slope analog voltage output from 0VDC to 10VDC along with LEDs to show analog output magnitude and object positioning. The sensor is an M18 thread barrel sensor of PBT plastic with an M12 4-pin male quick disconnect. The sensor is compliant with CE and UL standards and NEMA 4X (indoor use only) and IP67 rated. This product is certified by CE and UL. The Hyde Park ultrasonic sensors operate in diffuse, reflex and thru beam modes. This range of sensors even includes long distance detection models. Hyde Park ultrasonic sensors perform contactless, reliable, and high performance detection regardless of the target's shape, texture, color, or transparency.
