Description

This product is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This M580 module provides interfaces for IEC 61850 communication It supports communication as IEC 61850 client, IEC 61850 server, GOOSE publisher, GOOSE subscriber, and Modbus TCP server and client. Thanks to a protective coating on its circuit board, this product can be used in harsh environments. The BMENOP0300 module has three external Ethernet ports, whose IP addresses can be configured. The maximum number of BMENOP0300 modules that can be mounted on a local rack is determined by the type of CPU. It weighs 0.345kg. It provides high network availability. This product is certified by CE and UL, and also by ATEX and IECEx for use in explosive atmospheres. it is compatible with the entire range of M580 CPUs, in both standalone and redundant configuration. The module is delivered in 1 packing unit. The BMENOP0300 IEC 61850 module is installed on the local Ethernet backplane of a M580 system.
