Description
TeSys K IEC industrial control relays are used in industrial control circuits. This Type K control relays has 3 normally open and 1 normally closed contacts. The contacts have AC-15 and DC13 contact ratings. Type K control relays can be mounted on 35mm DIN rail or can be mounted directed to a panel. The relay has a 120 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. Screw clamp terminals are used for load and auxiliary connections. An extensive line of accessories makes it easy to meet the requirements of most applications. The relay is 2.28 inches tall, 1.77 inches wide and 2.24 inches deep. It weighs 0.40 lbs. This control relay is UL Listed and CSA certified.

- Consisting of 3 Normally Open (NO) and 1 Normally Closed (NC) contacts. This specific 3NO+1NC composition allows for efficient multi-circuit control and simultaneous status feedback signals, eliminating the need to stack extra auxiliary contact blocks for standard logic loops.
- Driven by a high-efficiency 120V AC 50/60Hz electromagnetic coil that drop-in replaces legacy control elements without modifications to your existing 120VAC automation systems. The low-consumption coil draws only 30 VA during inrush and drops to a steady 4.5 VA hold-in, minimizing panel heat generation and reducing power supply strain.
- Rated for continuous thermal currents up to 10 Amps at operational voltages up to 690VAC, adhering strictly to heavy-duty AC-15 and DC-13 utilization categories. Built for rugged industrial environments, its contacts deliver a robust mechanical life of 10 million cycles, keeping your production machinery online and reducing costly preventative maintenance downtime.
- Engineered with a highly compact TeSys K miniature profile, measuring just 1.77 inches wide, 2.28 inches high, and 2.24 inches deep. It supports dual-purpose installation via standard 35mm DIN rail snapping or direct panel-surface screw mounting, giving panel builders maximum flexibility when optimizing high-density backplate footprints.
- Outfitted with robust, finger-safe IP2X screw clamp terminals that accept solid or flexible wiring (from 0.34 to 4 mm2) and deliver a secure 1.3 N.m tightening torque. These deep-set terminals prevent accidental contact shocks and ensure highly reliable, gas-tight wire terminations that will not vibrate loose in demanding industrial environments.
