Description

This module belongs to Schneider Electric's Modicon M580 range. It integrates the latest IT technologies to provide a simple and powerful open platform for small applications. It brings the IT concept inside the Modicon M580 system without requiring the installation of dedicated Industrial PC hardware. The module can be installed where the M580 is used for any kind of application in any segment. Moreover, it provides great flexibility by offering the possibility of choosing the language for development. The module is based on three pillars, the first one is to boost the module while adding new values to the M580 system, such as complex calculations, third-party device with custom protocols, etc. This model supports Secure boost. Lastly, this module offers high reliability by combining the robustness of both the Modicon M580 and Linux OS worlds.
