Description

This product is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This module is an Ethernet communications module with an embedded OPC UA server for communication with OPC UA clients, including SCADA. It provides complete Ethernet transparency when connected to the Ethernet backplane. OPC UA is a reliable standard for industrial communications. It supports HTTPS protocol. It offers cybersecurity setting service. It weighs 0.383kg. It brings high-performance OPC UA capabilities to Modicon M580 ePAC systems. This product conforms to the OPC UA V1.03 standard. It can be installed either on an Ethernet or a X-bus rack. The module is delivered in 1 packing unit. It can be installed in any X80 Ethernet backplane slot in the head rack of a Modicon M580 ePAC system. Modicon X80 is a platform of modules common to Modicon M580 and M340 automation platforms that reduces maintenance and training costs with same spare parts in stock, and unique training for various Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). Modicon X80 consists in a compatible modules common platform that reduce maintenance and training costs with same spare parts in stock, and unique training for different Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC).
