Description
9002AW NEMA industial foot switches are heavy duty devices to used to control many industrial processes, while leaving the operator's hands free to perform other functions. The type or model of foot switch suitable for each application will vary depending on many factors. This foot switch has no sheilding. This foot switch has maintained contacts. Sometimes referred to as Push on / Push off. The single pole single throw (SPST) snap switches used for the contacts of this foot switch is rated at 10A inductive at 600 VAC. For other contact ratings, refer to the catalog. This foot switch is operated by stepping on the foot pedal to activate and push the foot pedal again to release it. Foot switch has an enclosure rating of NEMA 2, 4 and 13. The cable entry for this foot switch has a 0.75 inch NPT conduit tread. Foot switch is UL listed and CSA certified.

- Built from rugged cast metal, this industrial foot switch features a certified dust-tight, watertight, and oil-tight enclosure rating. It successfully withstands high-pressure water jets and continuous splashing coolant, ensuring complete contact protection and long-term reliability inside punishing machine shops, automotive plants, and exterior industrial spaces.
- Outfitted with a premium Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) snap switch, the internal hardware is rated for up to 10 Amps inductive at 600V AC. This high electrical threshold allows the device to smoothly switch demanding control circuits and motor starters without the risk of contact pitting, terminal welding, or premature electrical failure.
- The unshielded, low-profile configuration offers an unrestricted pedal area for operators who need to quickly locate and step onto the switch from multiple angles. This makes it ideal for fast-moving manufacturing assembly lines where workers must frequently cycle machinery without being slowed down by a restrictive protective metal shroud.
- Designed with a standard 0.75-inch NPT threaded conduit inlet, the switch allows for a direct, secure connection to liquid-tight fittings or rigid metal conduit. This universal interface ensures field electricians can achieve a reliable, moisture-sealed cable entrance path that meets strict UL and CSA electrical code requirements during installation.
