Description
This Harmony XB5, head with key (key no.455) for key selector switch has 3 positions, operates with stay-put mechanism with key withdrawal on left, center and right position. This head with key provides a versatile interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible complete key selector switch units to provide a secure manner for authorized staff to switch between process or machine operating modes. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66. It has a plastic bezel, this makes it ideal for applications requiring good resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.

- Engineered with a robust "stay-put" mechanical design, this 90° throw selector switch locks firmly into one of three positions (Left-Center-Right) without springing back. This provides industrial operators with definitive tactile feedback and ensures that critical machine states—such as Hand-Off-Auto (HOA) configurations—remain constant even in high-vibration manufacturing environments.
- This operator utilizes the industry-standard Ronis 455 key profile, allowing for seamless integration into existing facility-wide master key systems. By requiring a physical key for actuation, it acts as a critical security layer for preventing unauthorized setting changes or accidental machine startups in sensitive processing areas.
- Constructed from high-strength, double-insulated dark grey plastic, the ZB5AG0 is immune to the corrosion and pitting that plague metal switches in "wash-down" or coastal environments. Its non-conductive bezel adds an extra layer of electrical safety and chemical resistance, making it the ideal choice for food and beverage, water treatment, and pharmaceutical applications.
- Designed for a universal 22mm (7/8") cutout, this Schneider Electric Harmony XB5 head is fully compatible with the modular ZB5AZ contact block system. This standardization allows for rapid field installation and easy replacement of the operator head without rewiring the entire contact stack, significantly reducing maintenance labor and downtime.
