Description
QO Load Centers offer premium features by allowing QO breakers, ground arc fault interrupters arc fault interrupters and surge arresters to be installed inside QO Load Centers enable the use of a full complement of accessories. Systems can be single or three phase and have indoor and outdoor versions. Indoor enclosures are designed to rotate 18 degrees to accommodate top or bottom service entrance feed which saves expensive service cable. QO Load Centers feature plated copper bus, providing superior performance and durability. This QO Load Center contains a main breaker and is rated at 2 A and 1 phase. This system provides 4 spaces in a NEMA 1 enclosure and it is Plug-on neutral load center. CQO load centers are CSA certified.
Features
- The CQO140M200PC is a 200-Amp, single-phase main breaker load centre (electrical panel). It is part of the Canadian QO Series, specifically engineered for the Canadian residential market. This panel serves as the "brain" of a home's electrical system, distributing power from the utility to various branch circuits while providing superior safety features.
- This is a high-capacity panel featuring: 40 Spaces: It has 40 physical slots for full-sized breakers. 80 Circuits: Because the bus bar is designed to accept tandem (twin) breakers in every slot, you can have up to 80 individual circuits. This makes it ideal for modern homes with extensive basement suites, EV chargers, or complex kitchen requirements.
- The "PC" indicates it is a Plug-on Neutral panel. This is a game-changer for modern installations: In traditional panels, AFCI and GFCI breakers require a white "pigtail" wire to be manually connected to the neutral bar. In the PoN system, the breaker clips directly onto a special neutral bar, eliminating the messy pigtail wiring. This leads to a much cleaner, faster installation and easier troubleshooting.
- Unlike cheaper panels that use aluminum bus bars, the CQO series uses tin-plated copper. Copper is a superior conductor with lower resistance, and the tin plating prevents oxidation. This ensures the panel runs cooler and maintains high-integrity connections for the life of the home.
