Description

QO Loadcentres offer premium features by allowing QO breakers, ground fault interrupters, arc fault interrupters, and surge arresters to be installed inside. QO Loadcentres are designed for residential and industrial use to protect electrical systems, equipment, and people. They are available in both traditional and plug on neutral configurations. There is 3 types of mains available. There is main circuit breaker, main lugs, and generator panel. Single and three phase options are available. The bus bars are tin plated copper and are shielded. Indoor and outdoors enclosures are an option. QO Loadcentres enable the use of a full complement of accessories. This 1 phase loadcentre has 40 spaces and 80 circuits. This system provides 200A main breaker in a NEMA 1 enclosure. It also includes plug on neutral, combination cover, and is CSA rated.

Features

The CQO140M200PC is a 200-Amp, single-phase main breaker load centre (electrical panel). It is part of the Canadian QO Series, specifically engineered for the Canadian residential market. This panel serves as the "brain" of a home's electrical system, distributing power from the utility to various branch circuits while providing superior safety features.
This is a high-capacity panel featuring: 40 Spaces: It has 40 physical slots for full-sized breakers. 80 Circuits: Because the bus bar is designed to accept tandem (twin) breakers in every slot, you can have up to 80 individual circuits. This makes it ideal for modern homes with extensive basement suites, EV chargers, or complex kitchen requirements.
The "PC" indicates it is a Plug-on Neutral panel. This is a game-changer for modern installations: In traditional panels, AFCI and GFCI breakers require a white "pigtail" wire to be manually connected to the neutral bar. In the PoN system, the breaker clips directly onto a special neutral bar, eliminating the messy pigtail wiring. This leads to a much cleaner, faster installation and easier troubleshooting.
Unlike cheaper panels that use aluminum bus bars, the CQO series uses tin-plated copper. Copper is a superior conductor with lower resistance, and the tin plating prevents oxidation. This ensures the panel runs cooler and maintains high-integrity connections for the life of the home.
