This superior protection reduces the "let-through" energy that can destroy sensitive motor controllers and variable frequency drives (VFDs), ensuring your critical industrial machinery remains operational even after a major electrical fault.
- Featuring a sophisticated dual-element design, this fuse provides a minimum 10-second delay at 500% of its 45-amp rating. This allows high-torque motors and transformers to pull necessary startup current without blowing the fuse, eliminating the productivity-killing downtime and labor costs associated with unnecessary fuse replacements.
- With a massive 300,000 Amp interrupting rating (AIC) at 600V AC, this fuse is engineered for the most demanding electrical environments. It offers the highest level of short-circuit protection available, making it easy to achieve "No Damage" Type 2 coordination for your motor starters and ensuring your facility easily exceeds the most stringent NEC® SCCR safety requirements.
- The space-saving Class J dimensions allow for the use of smaller, more cost-effective fuse holders and disconnect switches compared to standard Class R or H fuses. This physical efficiency enables industrial engineers to design more compact, high-density control panels without sacrificing the 600V power capacity needed for heavy-duty manufacturing equipment.
