- With a best-in-class 300,000 Amp interrupting rating (AIR), this fuse offers the industry’s highest level of overcurrent protection at 600V AC. It ensures that even in the event of a catastrophic electrical fault, the fuse will safely clear the circuit and prevent explosive damage to your switchgear and expensive machinery.
- As a UL Class J current-limiting device, the LPJ-150SP physically prevents peak fault currents from reaching their full destructive potential. By significantly reducing the let-through energy ($I^2t$), it lowers the Arc Flash hazard levels for your maintenance personnel and helps your control panels meet or exceed Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) requirements.
- Despite its heavy-duty 150-Amp capacity, the Class J dimensions are significantly smaller than equivalent Class R fuses, saving up to 60% of the space required in your electrical enclosure.
