Features
- Engineered specifically for heavy-duty industrial control circuits and electric motors, the advanced dual-element system provides a minimum 10-second time delay at 500% of the 2.25-amp rated current. This allows the fuse to easily withstand harmless, temporary transient surges and high-inrush startup currents without nuisance tripping, effectively eliminating unnecessary downtime and maintaining continuous facility operation.
- Featuring standard Class J physical dimensions of 0.81 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches in length with secure ferrule ends, this compact cartridge fuse seamlessly drops into any standard 30A Class J fuse block, disconnect switch, or modular holder (such as the JM60030 series). Its space-saving design is purpose-built for equipment downsizing, allowing industrial engineers to minimize panel space while maximizing electrical protection.
- Operating as a true current-limiting component, this Low-Peak fuse rapidly intercepts massive short-circuit currents before they can reach peak values. By severely restricting both the thermal and magnetic energy effects of an electrical fault, it prevents catastrophic "Type 2" breakdown damage to vulnerable downstream components like NEMA and IEC motor controllers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and power panelboards.
- Carrying an unmatched 300 kAIC fault-clearing threshold at 600 VAC (and 100 kAIC at 300 VDC), this fuse offers worry-free deployment in high-energy power panels and main machinery disconnects.
