Description

2510K manual non-reversing motor switches are designed for manual On Off control for small motors. These non-reversing manual switches are used in a variety of industrial and commercial installations. Typical applications include fans, conveyors, pumps, and small machine tools. This switch can also be used on non-motor loads such as resistance heaters. This three pole switch is rated for 2 HP at 115VAC, 7.5 HP at 230VAC, 10 HP at 460VAC, and 10 HP at 600VAC three phase. It is also rated for 1 HP at 90 VDC, 2 HP at 115 VDC and 1.5 HP at 230 VDC motors. Overload protection for the motor must be supplied separately. 2510K switches can be ordered in a variety of enclosure types. This device is in a surface mount NEMA 4 watertight enclosure. This enclosure has one conduit entry on the bottom and one on the top. The 0.75 inch conduit entries are tapped with number 14 pipe threads. Enclosure is 4.38 inches tall, 3.00 inches wide and 4.56 inches deep. A toggle handle is used to turn the manual switch on and off. The toggle handle can be padlocked in the off position. This switch comes as standard with a 440 to 600 volt red pilot light. 2510K manual switches are UL listed and CSA certified. This device is UL Listed and CSA certified.

The rugged enclosure features a dual 0.75-inch NPT threaded conduit hub configuration positioned at both the top and bottom of the housing base. Accommodating solid or stranded copper conductors ranging from 14 AWG down to 10 AWG via heavy-duty screw clamp terminals, this layout speeds up field pulls and ensures a gas-tight, vibration-proof termination that won't back out under machine-induced vibrations.
