Description
QO and QOB one, two and three pole thermal magnetic circuit breakers provide overcurrent protection and switching on ac and dc systems. These circuit breakers have an over center, trip free toggle mechanism with quick make, quick break action and positive handle indication. They also have VisiTrip trip indication, which provides a visual indication that the circuit breaker has tripped and interrupted the circuit. This 3 pole QO circuit breaker is rated at 50A at 120/240VAC. This unit provides 10kA breaking capacity and bolt on mounting. A full line of features and factory installed accessories are also available such as shunt trips, auxiliary switches and alarm switches. QO circuit breakers are UL Listed under UL File E84967 and are CSA Certified under CSA Master Contract 153555. Features
- Specifically designed for Square D NQ and NQOD panelboards, this QOB (Quick-Open Bolt-on) breaker features a permanent screw-on connection to the bus bar. This high-integrity mechanical interface is the preferred standard for industrial and commercial facilities where constant vibrations or temperature fluctuations could loosen standard plug-on units, ensuring long-term electrical stability and fire safety.
- Providing a robust 50 Amps at 240V AC across three poles, this breaker is engineered to power large commercial loads such as industrial air compressors, HVAC chillers, and large motor starters. The common-trip mechanism ensures that if one phase faults, all three poles trip simultaneously, preventing "single-phasing" conditions that can lead to catastrophic motor burnout and expensive equipment replacement.
- Featuring the industry-exclusive Visi-Trip indicator, a high-visibility red flag appears in the breaker window the moment a fault is detected.
