Features
- Specifically designed for Square D NQ and NQOD panelboards, this QOB (Quick-Open Bolt-on) breaker features a permanent screw-on connection to the bus bar. This high-integrity mechanical interface is the preferred standard for industrial and commercial facilities where constant vibrations or temperature fluctuations could loosen standard plug-on units, ensuring long-term electrical stability and fire safety.
- Providing a robust 50 Amps at 240V AC across three poles, this breaker is engineered to power large commercial loads such as industrial air compressors, HVAC chillers, and large motor starters. The common-trip mechanism ensures that if one phase faults, all three poles trip simultaneously, preventing "single-phasing" conditions that can lead to catastrophic motor burnout and expensive equipment replacement.
- Featuring the industry-exclusive Visi-Trip indicator, a high-visibility red flag appears in the breaker window the moment a fault is detected. This allows facility managers and maintenance technicians to perform instant visual diagnostics across a dense panelboard, significantly reducing troubleshooting time and allowing for faster power restoration to critical business operations.
