Description
QO and QOB one, two and three pole thermal magnetic circuit breakers provide overcurrent protection and switching on ac and dc systems. These circuit breakers have an over center, trip free toggle mechanism with quick make, quick break action and positive handle indication. They also have VisiTrip trip indication, which provides a visual indication that the circuit breaker has tripped and interrupted the circuit. This 3 pole QO circuit breaker is rated at 15A at 120/240VAC. This unit provides 10kA breaking capacity and bolt on mounting. A full line of features and factory installed accessories are also available such as shunt trips, auxiliary switches and alarm switches. QO circuit breakers are UL Listed under UL File E84967 and are CSA Certified under CSA Master Contract 153555. Features
- The Schneider Electric (Square D) QOB315 is a 15-Amp, 3-pole circuit breaker featuring a dedicated bolt-on mounting system. Unlike standard plug-on breakers, the QOB series uses physical screws to secure the breaker directly to the panelboard bus bars. This creates a permanent, high-integrity mechanical connection that is essential for Canadian industrial facilities, schools, and hospitals where vibration or thermal expansion might loosen a standard clip.
- As a 3-pole breaker, the QOB315 is designed to provide simultaneous protection for 240V AC 3-phase loads. With its 15-Amp rating, it is the standard choice for protecting small industrial motors, commercial HVAC fans, and 3-phase transformers where precise, low-amperage overcurrent protection is required to prevent equipment damage.
- Equipped with the patented Visi-Trip™ red flag, this breaker provides instant visual feedback. When the breaker trips due to an overload or short circuit, a bright red indicator appears in the face of the unit. This allows maintenance staff to identify the faulted circuit at a glance across a crowded electrical room, significantly reducing diagnostic time and plant downtime.
- True to the "QO" (Quick-Open) heritage, the QOB315 features a snap-action mechanism that opens the contacts faster than a standard breaker. This rapid response limits the "let-through" energy during a fault, protecting your downstream wiring and sensitive 3-phase
