- Featuring an advanced dual-element design, this fuse provides a minimum 10-second time-delay at 500% of its rated current load. This specialized temporal buffer allows heavy industrial motor startups and high-inrush control transformers to engage smoothly without blowing the fuse, preventing annoying, repetitive downtime while maintaining absolute protection against sustained overloads.
- Built to handle severe grid anomalies safely, the fuse delivers an exceptional interrupting capacity rated at 200 kA RMS Symmetrical at 250 V AC, and up to 20 kA at 125 V DC. This massive fault tolerance ensures immediate containment of high-energy short circuits, protecting upstream distribution equipment and sensitive downstream instrumentation from catastrophic arc damage.
- As a certified Class RK5 current-limiting fuse, the internal mechanism reacts within milliseconds during a major short circuit to clear the fault before the current can peak.
