    Description

    TeSys LE1 enclosed IEC full voltage starters are available in Type 1 and Type 12/3R enclosures. The enclosed TeSys LE1 starters use TeSys D contactors and standard TeSys D accessories and all Insta-Kits control units and control power transformer kits. This enclosed IEC full voltage starter has a LC1D09G7 contactor. This enclosed IEC starter is without an line protection. Contactor has a 2HP at 208VAC, 2HP at 230VAC, 5HP at 460VAC and 7.5HP at 600VAC 3 phase ratings. Contactor has a 1/3HP at 120VAC and 1HP at 240VAC single phase ratings. Contactor has a 120VAC 50/60Hz coil. Contactor has one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact. Enclosed starter is not supplied with an overload relay or control transformer. Enclosure is a general purpose sheet steel that is rated NEMA Type 1. This TeSys LE1 IEC encosed starter is UL Listed, CSA certified and IEC certified.

    • This is a TeSys LE enclosed non-reversing DOL (Direct-On-Line) motor starter. It combines a high-quality contactor and an overload relay inside a rugged, pre-wired enclosure. It provides a "plug-and-play" solution for starting and protecting 3-phase motors, commonly used for Canadian small industrial pumps, fans, and conveyor systems.
    • The core component is a 9-Amp (AC-3) contactor. In a typical Canadian 600V industrial environment, this unit is rated for motors up to 5 HP. If you are running at 208V or 240V, the horsepower rating will be lower (approx. 2-3 HP). It is designed to handle the high inrush current of inductive motor loads safely and reliably.
    • The "G7" code signifies a 120V AC (50/60 Hz) control coil. This is the standard control voltage for most North American industrial facilities, allowing the starter to be integrated into existing control logic or operated via standard 120V pilot devices without needing an additional control transformer.
    • This specific model features integrated "Start" and "Stop/Reset" pushbuttons mounted directly on the cover. The "Stop" button also acts as the manual reset for the thermal overload relay, providing a localized, ergonomic control point for machinery operators on the factory floor.
    • The starter includes a pre-installed thermal overload relay. This relay monitors the current draw of the motor and will trip the circuit if it detects a sustained over-current condition (such as a mechanical jam or phase loss), preventing permanent damage to the motor windings—a critical requirement for Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) motor branch circuit protection.
