Description
Harmony 22 mm modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights are designed for industry. This range combines simplicity of setup, flexibility and a robust construction. An ingenious locking system consisting of a snap fit head and body that can be tightened with a single screw but still ensuring an easy and yet secure mounting. Harmony XB4/ZB4 are 22 mm chromium plated metal modular push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights connecting to fully metal mounting collar. The operators can be purchased as complete operators or various modules that can be assembled to meet the user’s specific requirement. Harmony XB5/ZB5 are 22 mm plastic modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights. The operator can have a round and square plastic bezel. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. The contacts can be used for low load electrical contact and high power applications. Shake proof connection screws make periodic retightening unnecessary. A complete set of accessories to provide a solution for applications where exposure to high pressure cleaning, dust and extreme temperatures is an everyday occurrence. These harmony 22mm push buttons are used by machine manufacturers (automotive, textiles, timber) and control system panel builders. Certified and approved for meeting requirements throughout all continents: EN/IEC, UL, NEMA, CSA, CCC, Gost, JIS and many more. They have UL and CE markings and have ratings up to IP66 and IP69K.
Features
- The Schneider Electric ZB4BG2 is a 22mm key-operated selector switch head from the Harmony XB4 metal range. It provides a maintained, 2-position ($90 $) operation. In Canadian industrial facilities, this is the go-to component for "Auto/Manual" or "On/Off" selections where you want to prevent unauthorized personnel from changing the machine's operating state.
- This unit uses the standard Ronis 455 key. While not a high-security "bank vault" lock, it provides a vital layer of operational safety. It ensures that only a supervisor or a qualified maintenance technician with the key can switch a machine from its programmed "Auto" mode into a "Manual" maintenance mode.
- The "G2" designation indicates that the key can be removed in any position (left or right). This is a critical feature for Canadian plant managers; you can set the machine to "Auto" and remove the key to lock in that setting, or set it to "Manual" for a weekend shutdown and take the key with you to ensure no one re-starts the system prematurely.
- As part of the XB4 series, the ZB4BG2 features a rugged metal bezel. It is designed to handle the grease, oil, and physical impacts common in Canadian workshops, sawmills, and manufacturing plants. It is much more durable than plastic versions, especially in extreme temperature fluctuations common in unheated Canadian industrial spaces.
- Despite being a key switch, the ZB4BG2 maintains incredible sealing ratings. It is NEMA 4X and IP69K rated, making it suitable for high-pressure washdown environments like food processing or pharmaceutical plants. A small internal seal ensures that dust and water do not penetrate the lock cylinder.
