Description
This Harmony XB5, head with key (key no.455) for key selector switch has 3 positions, operates with stay-put mechanism with key withdrawal on left and right position. This head with key provides a versatile interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible complete key selector switch units to provide a secure manner for authorized staff to switch between process or machine operating modes. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66. It has a plastic bezel, this makes it ideal for applications requiring good resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product. Key removal allowed in only one of the positions, allowing for advanced interlocking between various parts of a machine or process, while limiting human errors.

- Featuring a three-position stay-put configuration, this operator mechanically locks into your chosen position—Left, Center, or Right—until turned by an operator. This definitive mechanical retention is ideal for selector applications like "Hand-Off-Auto" or "Manual-Off-Automatic" control loops, ensuring high-voltage machinery remains safely in its designated mode without accidental drift.
- Engineered as a key-operated switch using standard Ronis 455 lock cylinders, this unit allows key extraction exclusively in the center ("Off") position. This design provides robust physical access security for facility managers, guaranteeing that critical or dangerous production processes cannot be restarted or switched into manual mode without a designated supervisor's key on hand.
- Designed with a standard front-mounting collar, this operator snaps securely onto standard Schneider Electric ZB5AZ mounting bases and ZBE contact blocks. This modular architecture allows industrial panel builders to customize contact configurations (NO/NC) in seconds, drastically accelerating panel fabrication and simplifying field replacements without disturbing back-of-panel wiring.
