Description
QOU Miniature Molded Case Circuit Breakers are intended for use in residential and commercial applications. They are used for overcurrent protection and switching on both AC and DC electrical systems. These breakers provide a means to manually open a circuit using the interally magnetic strips. They also have VisiTrip trip indication, which provides a visual indication that the circuit breaker has tripped and interrupted the circuit. These QOU miniature circuit breakers can be DIN rail mounted, surface mounted or flush mounted using mounting feet. This two pole QOU miniature circuit breaker is rated as 20A, 240VAC. This circuit breaker provides 10 kA breaking capacity. QOU circuit breakers have been verified to adhere to their datasheet specifications by UL and CSA.

- Featuring an incredibly flexible "unit-mount" chassis, this 2-pole miniature circuit breaker can be DIN rail-mounted, surface-mounted, or flush-mounted utilizing specialized mounting feet. This makes it an invaluable, adaptable asset for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and commercial panel builders who need a single, reliable component that fits varied enclosure architecture without buying dedicated panel hardware.
- Engineered with an expansive voltage profile, this 20A thermal-magnetic breaker operates flawlessly on 120/240V AC networks as well as 48V DC infrastructure. This dual-system compatibility allows maintenance engineers to standardize on a uniform circuit protection model across standard building lines, HVAC components, and low-voltage DC auxiliary battery banks.
- Built with versatile, slotted box lugs on both the line side and load side, this standalone breaker handles direct cable-in/cable-out point-to-point wiring configurations. It eliminates the need for expensive, specialized distribution busbars or loadcentre structures, allowing for quick, isolated sub-circuit installation directly adjacent to standalone industrial control machinery.
- Equipped with Square D's patented Visi-Trip visual window indicator, a high-visibility mechanical red flag pops into view the exact moment the breaker interrupts a fault. This instantly differentiates a tripped breaker from one that has been manually turned off, significantly reducing plant diagnostic labor and helping field operators safely isolate and resolve downstream faults faster.
- Boasting a robust 10 kA short-circuit current rating (kAIC) at 120/240V AC and a 5 kA rating at 48V DC, this breaker delivers high-tier safety suppression against sudden short circuits. The glass-reinforced thermoset composite housing provides high dielectric strength and structural containment, protecting delicate nearby instrumentation from catastrophic thermal-magnetic blast energies.
