Description

This product is part of the Modicon M171/M172 range, an offer I/O modules for HVAC solutions. This additional I/O module offers 4 discrete inputs with sink or source (positive/negative) discrete input logic. It is a module with discrete input voltage of 24V AC/DC and analogue output voltage ranges from 0V to 10V. This module offers SPDT relay output with independent common and 3 SPST relay output with same common discrete output. The main application of this module is HVAC and pumping solution. Modicon M171/M172 benefits maximize profitability and energy efficiency by using scalable automation control with the Modicon M171/M172. Modicon M171/M172 logic controllers and intuitive software EcoStruxure Machine Expert - HVAC are designed for maximizing profitability and energy efficiency.

  • Equipped with an embedded CAN expansion bus port utilizing a robust screw terminal block, the module guarantees high-speed, noise-resistant data communication across your network. This dedicated industrial fieldbus architecture prevents latency issues and ensures reliable real-time telemetry between the main processor and secondary field devices.
  • The 4 highly versatile analog inputs are configurable by pair and natively support 0-5V ratiometric, 0-10V voltage, 4-20mA current, as well as NTC and PTC temperature sensors. This broad compatibility eliminates the need for expensive external signal converters or signal conditioning cards, allowing you to wire existing environmental probes directly to the terminal block.
  • This module features 1 heavy-duty SPDT relay output with an independent common alongside 3 SPST relay outputs sharing a single common, all rated for a 3 A discrete output current at 24V AC/DC. This versatile contact configuration gives you the flexibility to safely isolate critical loads or switch multi-stage compressors, fans, and valves from a single compact block.
  • Designed for high-density control panels, the ultra-compact housing measures just 70mm wide, 87mm high, and 61.6mm deep, snap-mounting onto standard 35mm DIN rails.
