  • The Bussmann CPDB-3 is a high-performance 3-Pole Compact Power Distribution Block. It serves as a central hub for your electrical system, allowing you to take a single large primary power feed and "split" it into multiple secondary branch circuits. This is an essential component for organizing power distribution within Canadian industrial control panels and HVAC equipment.
  • Designed with a compact, modular footprint, the CPDB-3 is engineered to save significant "real estate" on your mounting plate. Its 3-pole mono-block design provides a much cleaner and more organized solution than using multiple individual terminal blocks, making it ideal for high-density automation projects where enclosure space is at a premium.
  • The CPDB-3 is designed with a finger-safe, shrouded construction (IP20 rating). This prevents accidental contact with live terminals during maintenance or troubleshooting. For Canadian facilities adhering to CSA Z462 safety standards, this "touch-safe" design is a critical feature for reducing arc flash risks and ensuring technician safety.
  • When used with the correct upstream overcurrent protection (like Class J or Class CC fuses), this block supports a high Short-Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of up to 200kA. This ensures that the block will not fail or become a hazard during a massive electrical fault, keeping your installation fully compliant with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
