Description

TeSys D reversing contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 9A/690V AC-3 (4kW@400V). It provides 120V 50/60Hz AC coils, 2NO+2NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), connection by screw clamp terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (90mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. With pre-wired reversing power connections, mechanical interlock (without electrical interlocking). Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Features

  • This 3-pole reversing contactor features a factory-installed mechanical interlock that physically prevents both contactors from closing at the same time. This critical safety mechanism eliminates the risk of phase-to-phase short circuits when reversing 3-phase motors up to 5 HP at 480V, ensuring smooth, fail-safe operation for conveyor systems, hoists, and automated machinery.
  • Equipped with a standard 120V AC 50/60Hz coil (G7 voltage code), this TeSys Deca contactor is optimized for seamless integration with most North American industrial PLC outputs and control transformers. The high-efficiency coil design reduces heat dissipation within your enclosure, extending the lifespan of surrounding sensitive electronic components and lowering overall energy consumption.
  • Featuring Schneider Electric’s patented EverLink power terminal technology, this unit maintains constant pressure on the copper cables even as the wire "creeps" over time. This prevents loose connections—the leading cause of electrical fires and localized overheating—significantly reducing the need for periodic re-torqueing and lowering long-term maintenance costs in high-vibration industrial environments.
  • Each contactor comes standard with one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) integrated auxiliary contact, providing immediate feedback for status signaling or safety interlocking. These contacts allow your control system to verify motor direction and state without the need for expensive add-on blocks, simplifying your panel wiring and reducing the total footprint on the DIN rail.
