Description
TeSys D reversing contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 25A/690V AC-3 (11kW@400V). It provides 120V 50/60Hz AC coils, 2NO+2NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), connection by screw clamp terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (90mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. With pre-wired reversing power connections, mechanical interlock (without electrical interlocking). Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).
Features
- Factory-engineered and preassembled with a reversing power busbar, this unit integrates two 3-pole contactors with a reliable mechanical interlock in a single 90mm-wide chassis. For industrial control panel builders, this eliminates the tedious task of cutting, bending, and hand-wiring cross-over connections, completely removing the risk of phase-to-phase shorts during forward-to-reverse switching sequences.
- Rated for 25 Amps under AC-3/AC-3e inductive motor loads and 40 Amps under AC-1 resistive loads, this rugged contactor easily manages up to 15 HP at 460/480V or 20 HP at 575/600V AC. This broad operating threshold provides industrial plants with heavy-duty switching performance for conveyor lines, water treatment pumps, and overhead crane lifts without the risk of contact welding.
- Featuring built-in 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact configurations on each contactor section, this assembly includes certified mechanically linked and mirror contacts. Automation technicians can immediately establish reliable electrical interlocks, route status feedback to an upstream PLC, or activate diagnostic pilot lamps without purchasing expensive add-on auxiliary contact blocks.

This fast-acting design boasts a opening time of 4-19 ms and a closing time of 12-22 ms, translating to crisp, immediate machine response times in rapid indexing or sorting environments.
