This Altistart 22 soft starter can feed 3-phase asynchronous motors in supply line connection. It has a rating of 17A, a rated power from 3HP to 15HP and a rated voltage from 230V to 575V AC. It is designed for simple and complex machines such as centrifugal and piston pumps, fans, screw compressors and material handling equipment. Slim form factor improves versatility; allows mounting in frames of any kind of machines. It features an Integrated bypass, this reduces noise and decreases heat dissipation. Compatibility with SoMove software allows configurations and settings to be easily transferred, meaning spares can be quickly installed. It provides smooth starting for your machinery, avoiding mechanical stresses and extending their service life.

This versatile Altistart 22 soft starter seamlessly handles operating voltages from 208V up to 575V AC, allowing you to deploy a single part number across multiple industrial applications. It efficiently controls standard 3-phase asynchronous motors rated for 3 hp at 208V, 5 hp at 230V, 10 hp at 460V, and up to 15 hp at 575V, giving you the flexibility to manage variable local line voltages without buying different starter models.
Featuring a built-in internal bypass contactor, this module automatically shunts current away from the internal thyristors once your motor reaches steady-state running speed. By dropping power dissipation down to a mere 39 watts for standard applications, it drastically cuts thermal output inside your electrical enclosure, eliminating the need for expensive auxiliary cooling fans or oversized control cabinets.
This soft starter delivers integrated Class 10 electronic thermal overload tracking, phase-failure line monitoring, and internal starter protection out of the box, mitigating the risk of expensive motor burnout. These comprehensive parameters actively minimize unneeded panel footprint and wiring complexity by replacing independent external phase-monitoring relays and thermal overloads.
Designed with a space-saving, slim profile measuring only 5.1 inches wide and 10.4 inches high, this vertical-mount module maximizes precious DIN rail or backpanel real estate. Accommodating standard 12 AWG to 4 AWG field wiring via robust screw clamp connections, the chassis integrates cleanly into space-constrained motor control centers (MCCs) or standalone control panels.
Operating on a standard 110V AC control circuit voltage (50/60Hz), this unit matches typical North American plant control environments effortlessly. It includes dual configurable relay outputs for running, alarm, and trip signaling, as well as native Modbus serial communication via an RJ45 port, ensuring easy automation scripting and remote telemetry integration with your existing PLC networks.
