• The Schneider Electric (Square D) QOB215 is a 15-Amp, 2-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. The "B" in the part number signifies "Bolt-on." While it looks almost identical to a standard QO breaker, it features a mounting screw that physically bolts the breaker to the panel's bus bar. This design is the standard for Canadian commercial and industrial panelboards (like the NQ series), where a permanent, vibration-resistant connection is required.
• Rated for 15 Amps at 120/240V AC, this 2-pole breaker is designed to protect dedicated 240V loads or 208V single-phase loads. In a Canadian commercial setting, you ll typically find the QOB215 protecting small HVAC units, baseboard heaters, or specialized industrial equipment that requires two hot legs of power.
• Like all premium Square D breakers, the QOB215 features the Visi-TripTM indicator. When the breaker trips, a high-visibility red flag appears in a window on the face of the breaker.
