Description
TeSys LRD terminal block for mounting of thermal overload relays LRD01-D35, LR3D01-D35 and electronic overcurrent relays LR97D. To be used for a separate mounting between overload relay and contactor. It provides top connections with screw clamp terminals, clip-on fixing on 35 mm DIN-rail or fixing by screws. Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).
Features
- The Schneider LAD7B106 is a specialized mounting adapter designed to allow a TeSys LRD overload relay (models LRD01 through LRD35) to be used as a standalone device. Normally, these relays plug directly into a contactor; this adapter provides the necessary housing and terminals to mount the relay independently on a DIN rail or a back panel.
- While "direct-mount" is the standard, an independent setup is used when space is tight or when the overload relay needs to be located further away from the contactor for better accessibility. This is common in complex control panels where the contactor and the motor protection elements are managed in separate sections of the enclosure.
- The LAD7B106 features an integrated clip for standard 35mm DIN rail (IEC 60715). It also includes screw-mounting holes for direct attachment to a flat plate. Once the adapter is mounted, the LRD overload relay "plugs" into the adapter's front-facing terminals, creating a secure, rigid assembly.
- The adapter is equipped with heavy-duty screw clamp terminals on the top. These terminals act as the bridge between your incoming power wires and the relay. They are designed to handle the same amperage as the LRD series (up to 32A/38A), ensuring a low-resistance, vibration-resistant connection that meets industrial safety standards.
- This adapter is designed with IP20-rated finger-safe terminals. This protective design prevents accidental contact with live electrical components while the panel is energized, significantly improving safety for technicians during troubleshooting or thermal adjustment of the relay.
