Description
TeSys K control relay, 4 contacts (3NO + 1NC), 10A/690V, for control of electromagnetic loads AC-15/DC-13. It provides a 24V DC control circuit with no inrush consumption and equipped with a surge suppression device, connection by screw clamp terminals. For high operating rates until 180 cycles/min and ambient temperature -25/+50°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), for clipping on 35mm DIN rail or fixing by screw. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC), Green Premium product (RoHS/REACh).
Features
- Engineered within the high-performance Harmony TeSys range, this device is a miniature, industrial-grade control relay (auxiliary contactor). It is purpose-built to execute logical interlocking, safely pilot low-voltage control circuits, and interface directly with electromagnetic loads, switching networks, or PLC digital logic systems under AC-15 and DC-13 utilization categories.
- This control relay features a fixed 4-pole contact arrangement consisting of 3 NO (Normally Open) contacts and 1 NC (Normally Closed) contact. Built to handle standard auxiliary demands, the contacts provide a conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) of 10A at 50°C, a rated operational voltage (Ue) up to 690V, and a robust mechanical durability rated for up to 20 million operating cycles.
- The unit operates via a standard 24V DC coil matrix requiring an efficient, low-draw inrush and hold-in power consumption of just 3 Watts at 20°C. Critically, the "D3" suffix indicates that this specific variant comes factory-equipped with a built-in, bidirectional peak-limiting diode suppressor that dampens inductive flyback voltage spikes upon de-energization, shielding upstream solid-state PLC outputs from damage.
- The terminal block features rugged, industrial-grade screw-clamp connections that handle a wide variety of conductors—from 1.5 to 4 mm2 solid wires to 0.34 to 1.5 mm2 flexible cables with cable-end sleeves—tightened to a high-torque metric of 1.3 N.m. Fully manufactured to rigorous global safety benchmarks, the Green Premium-certified, IP2X fingersafe housing carries complete UL, CSA, CE, UKCA, and IEC 60947-4-1 approvals for smooth municipal code validation.
