Description
This Harmony XB4, light block with body/fixing collar is white, operates with an integral LED. It has a metal body and is compatible with Harmony XB4 pilot lights. This light block allows fast and easy replacement and configuration of your signaling units. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible illuminated push button or selector switch units via clip together assembly and connected with simple screw-clamp connections. It enables visual distinction of signaling units via illumination by integral LED. It protects operators from unexpected contact with live circuits thanks to its IP20 protection index. It is designed to fit with a standard 22mm control and signaling units, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 55°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- The Schneider ZB4BVB1 is a complete "back-of-panel" light body assembly for the Harmony XB4 (22mm metal) series. It consists of a mounting collar and an integrated 24V white LED light block pre-assembled into a single unit. This modular base is designed to snap onto any compatible operator head (lens), providing the mechanical support and electrical illumination required for pilot lights or illuminated pushbuttons.
- This unit is rated for 24V AC/DC, making it the standard choice for modern PLC and industrial automation control circuits. The integrated "Protected LED" technology provides a consistent, high-intensity white light that resists electromagnetic interference and "ghosting," ensuring that your status indicators remain clearly visible in electrically noisy environments.
- As part of the premium Harmony XB4 metal range, the fixing collar is constructed from chromium-plated Zamak (zinc alloy). This provides exceptional mechanical rigidity and corrosion resistance compared to plastic alternatives, ensuring the assembly remains securely locked to the panel even when subjected to the heavy vibrations of rock crushers, stamping presses, or marine equipment.
- When paired with a compatible head, the ZB4BVB1 body helps maintain the enclosure's IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings. It is engineered to survive high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns (up to 7,000,000 Pa at 80°C), making it the ideal status-signaling component for food and beverage processing or pharmaceutical cleanrooms.
- The solid-state LED is rated for a service life of 100,000 hours at rated voltage. This longevity virtually eliminates the need for the periodic bulb replacements required by older incandescent technology, significantly reducing machine downtime and labor costs over the life of the control panel.
