Description
This Harmony ZB, XB5 white Light block operates with an integral LED. It is supplied with 110V to 120V AC and uses screw clamp terminals. It has a plastic body. This light block allows fast and easy replacement and configuration of your signaling units. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible illuminated push-button or selector switch units via clip together assembly and connected with simple screw-clamp connections. It enables visual distinction of signaling units via illumination by integral LED. It protects operators from unexpected contact with live circuits thanks to its IP20 protection index. It features high endurance LED lighting for less replacement and process downtimes. Vibration resistant screw clamp connection terminals ensure high vibration resistance making product suitable installation on high impact machine.
Features
- The ZBVG1 is a 120V AC white light block from the Harmony XB4 (metal) and XB5 (plastic) series. It is the internal electrical component that provides the illumination for pilot lights and illuminated pushbuttons in industrial control panels.
- Unlike traditional incandescent bulbs that are prone to failure from vibration and heat, the ZBVG1 features a Protected LED. This solid-state technology offers an exceptionally long service life (typically 100,000 hours), lower power consumption, and high resistance to the mechanical shocks common in manufacturing environments.
- This specific block is rated for 110V to 120V AC (50/60 Hz). It is the standard choice for North American control circuits, allowing you to power signaling devices directly from the control transformer without the need for additional voltage converters or power supplies.
- The ZBVG1 utilizes screw clamp terminals. These robust connections ensure a gas-tight, vibration-proof electrical bond for wires up to 14 AWG. The terminals are designed with "captive" screws, meaning they won't fall out and get lost in the bottom of your enclosure during installation or maintenance.
- This block is designed to "clip" onto the back of a ZB4BZ009 (metal) or ZB5AZ009 (plastic) mounting collar. This modular approach allows you to swap out the light source or change the lens color without needing to replace the entire pushbutton assembly, significantly simplifying inventory and repairs.
