Description
General duty safety switches are designed for residential and commercial applications where durability and economy are prime considerations. Typical loads include lighting, air conditioning, and appliances. They are suitable for use as service equipment when equipped with a factory-installed neutral assembly or field-installed service grounding kit, as applicable. General duty safety switches are UL® Listed, and meet or exceed the NEMA® Standard KS1. This Single Throw Safety Switch which has a rated current of 200A with a NEMA 3R degree of protection. This fusible disconnect switch comes with a neutral (factory installed). This general duty switch is a 2-pole, 240VAC has a short curcuit rating of 100kA and is surface mounted. This switch has lugs for an electrical connection which will accept AWG 6/250 kcmil, aluminium/copper. This switch is certified to UL standards Dinemsions for this product are 29.25 in (H), 19 in (W), 8.5 in (D). General Duty safety switchs come with an 18 months warranty.

- Rated at 200A and up to 240VAC, this 2-pole, 3-wire single-throw safety switch delivers a robust 60 hp maximum rating at 3-phase 240V AC. It easily accommodates demanding commercial motor setups, multi-family residential panels, or larger central air conditioning units without risking premature wear.
- This fusible disconnect is engineered to accept standard cartridge fuses, offering a maximum short-circuit safety threshold of up to 100 kA. This high fault-current capacity shields downstream equipment from catastrophic surge damage, eliminating any comparison confusion between general duty economy and industrial-grade protection.
- The integrated mechanical lugs comfortably accept either copper or aluminum conductors ranging from AWG 6 up to 250 kcmil. Designed for effortless pull-through and termination, the terminal lugs require a standard tightening torque of 275 lbf.in to guarantee an incredibly stable, low-resistance electrical connection.
