Description
This Harmony XB5, black selector switch head with standard handle has 2 positions, operates with stay-put mechanism. This switch head with standard handle provides an ergonomic interface for controlling your machines. It can easily be installed on compatible selector switch units and provide an effective manner to set your machine in various operating modes. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP69K. It has a plastic bezel, this makes it ideal for applications requiring good resistance to chemical agents and/or double electrical insulation. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- The Schneider Electric Harmony ZB5AD2 is a 2-position maintained selector switch actuator. This means when you turn the knob from the left to the right position, it "stays" there until you manually turn it back. It is the industry standard for "Auto/Manual" or "Off/On" selection in Canadian control panels and machinery.
- Part of the Harmony ZB5 (plastic) range, this actuator is highly resistant to chemical corrosion and electrical interference. With IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings, it is specifically designed to withstand high-pressure wash-downs and extreme temperatures, making it ideal for Canadian food and beverage processing or outdoor marine applications.
- The actuator features a standard black stay-put handle with a high-contrast white position indicator. The handle’s shape is designed for a positive grip, ensuring that operators in rugged industrial environments can clearly feel the mechanical "click" of the switch even when wearing heavy work gloves.
- This unit is designed for a standard 22mm mounting hole, making it universally compatible with most industrial control stations. Its modular design allows it to be combined with a mounting collar and various ZBE contact blocks, giving you the flexibility to customize the specific electrical logic (NO/NC) needed for your control circuit.
- The ZB5 series features a double-insulated plastic bezel. This is a major advantage in applications where grounding the operator is difficult or where the device is exposed to corrosive cleaning agents that might pit or degrade chrome-plated metal. It provides a lightweight yet incredibly durable solution for high-frequency use.
