Description
This switch head with black standard handle provides an ergonomic interface for controlling your machines. It can easily be installed on compatible selector switch units. It provides an effective manner to set your machine in various operating modes. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP69K. It makes it ideal for operation in harsh environments.
Features
- This switch head features a standard 22mm mounting diameter designed specifically for the Schneider Harmony XB5 plastic range, ensuring seamless retrofitting or new panel integration. It provides a strict mechanical fit into existing control stations without requiring custom punch-outs or specialized layout tools.
- The ZB5AD8 is a 3-position operator built with a momentary spring return that snaps back automatically from the right position to the center. This specialized configuration is ideal for manual override sequences, jog controls, or step-by-step state changes where an operator must deliberately hold the right-hand state to prevent accidental continuous machine cycles.
- The ZB5AD8 is an isolated configurable switch body (operator head only), meaning it requires a matching Harmony XB5 mounting collar (such as the ZB5AZ009) and specific electrical contact blocks (like the ZBE101 series) to form a fully functioning unit. This modular framework allows you to customize the underlying open or closed circuit combinations to fit complex automated logic loops while minimizing total inventory replacement costs.
- Constructed from dark gray industrial-grade plastic, the bezel provides exceptional structural stability, electrical insulation, and chemical resilience over a massive operational span of 1,000,000 mechanical durability cycles. This specialized polymer resists cracking and degradation when exposed to common industrial solvents, heavy vibrations up to 5 gn, and severe thermal environments ranging from -40C to 70C (-40F to 158F).
