Description
Harmony 22 mm modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights are designed for industry. This range combines simplicity of setup, flexibility and a robust construction. An ingenious locking system consisting of a snap fit head and body that can be tightened with a single screw but still ensuring an easy and yet secure mounting. Harmony XB4/ZB4 are 22 mm chromium plated metal modular push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights connecting to fully metal mounting collar. The operators can be purchased as complete operators or various modules that can be assembled to meet the user’s specific requirement. Harmony XB5/ZB5 are 22 mm plastic modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights. The operator can have a round and square plastic bezel. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. The contacts can be used for low load electrical contact and high power applications. Shake proof connection screws make periodic retightening unnecessary. A complete set of accessories to provide a solution for applications where exposure to high pressure cleaning, dust and extreme temperatures is an everyday occurrence. These harmony 22mm push buttons are used by machine manufacturers (automotive, textiles, timber) and control system panel builders. Certified and approved for meeting requirements throughout all continents: EN/IEC, UL, NEMA, CSA, CCC, Gost, JIS and many more. They have UL and CE markings and have ratings up to IP66 and IP69K.
Features
- The ZB4BD3 is a 3-position, 90-degree selector switch head from the Schneider Electric Harmony XB4 metal range. It features "Stay-Put" (maintained) operation, meaning the handle remains in the position to which it is turned (Left, Center, or Right) until manually moved again. It is the standard choice for "Hand-Off-Auto" or "Manual-Off-Auto" control configurations.
- Constructed with a robust chromium-plated metal bezel, this operator is designed to withstand high-impact and high-vibration environments. It is rated IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K, providing complete protection against dust and high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns perfect for food processing, automotive, and outdoor control panels.
- The unit features a standard black handle that provides a clean, professional appearance and an ergonomic grip. As a non-illuminated head, it provides a clear, tactile "click" into each of the three positions, providing certain visual and physical confirmation of the selected mode.
- This part number is the operator head only. To create a functional switch, you must pair it with a metal mounting collar (ZB4BZ009) and contact blocks. For a typical 3-position setup, you would use two contact blocks (e.g., two ZBE101 NO blocks) to trigger different actions in the Left and Right positions, with the Center position acting as "Off."
- Designed to fit a standard 22.5mm (7/8") hole, the ZB4BD3 is compatible with most industrial control stations and enclosures. It is UL Listed, CSA Certified, and CE marked, ensuring it meets global safety and engineering standards for industrial machinery and power distribution systems across North America and Europe.
