Description
This Harmony XB4, plain lens illuminated flush blue button head for universal LED operates with a spring return / impulse mechanism. This illuminated button head for universal LED provides a versatile interface for controlling your machines. It is easily installed and replaced on compatible complete push button units and contact blocks via snap-fit assembly. It is clearly distinguishable visually at a distance thanks to illuminated, clear color and by touch due to flush element, minimizing errors in machine control. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP66. It has a metal bezel, this makes it Ideal for applications requiring high impact and vibration resistance. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product. It provides high brightness for easy identification of function and operation mode, even in brightly lit environments.
Features
- The Schneider Electric ZB4BW363 is a 22mm illuminated push button head from the Harmony XB4 metal range. It features a "flush" profile and a Blue lens. In Canadian industrial panels, blue is most commonly used for "Reset" functions (such as resetting a tripped motor starter or a safety relay) or for specific process commands that require visual confirmation that the button is active.
- Being part of the XB4 family, this head features a rugged chromium-plated metal bezel. This makes it significantly more durable than the plastic XB5 equivalents. It is designed to withstand physical impacts, chemical washdowns, and the extreme temperatures found in Canadian environments like oil refineries, mining sites, and outdoor pumping stations.
- The ZB4BW363 is a momentary operator. This means it only stays "actuated" as long as your finger is pressing it. When released, it springs back to its original position. This is the standard requirement for "Start," "Reset," or "Inching" commands where you only want to send a brief signal to a PLC or a contactor coil.
- This button head is built for the harshest conditions. With NEMA 4X and IP69K ratings, it is completely dust-tight and can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature steam cleaning. This makes it a go-to choice for Canadian food and beverage processing plants where strict sanitation and frequent washdowns are mandatory.
- The ZB4BW363 is the head only. To make it a functional switch, you must pair it with: Mounting Collar: (e.g., ZB4BZ009) Light Block: (e.g., ZBVG6 for 120V) Contact Block: (e.g., ZBE101 for Normally Open) This modularity allows you to mix and match voltages and contact configurations without replacing the entire button.
