This communication module is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of PACs with built-in Ethernet and communication modules. This communication module offers ethernet cable for transmission support medium with 10Mbps and 100Mbps transmission rate. It is interfaced with 3 Ethernet 10/100BASE-TX. This communication module enables M580 platform to proceed to IEC 61850-compliant data exchange. It features MMS messaging client for IEC 61850, MMS messaging server for IEC 61850, Goose for IEC 61850, Modbus TCP messaging, RSTP support etc. It weighs 0.24kg. It is suitable for medium to large process applications. It is compatible with M580 PAC.
