Description
These TeSys VLS disconnect switches are for integration into control systems in applications like material handling, HVAC, pumping, solar energy, mining and many more. This family of disconnect switches has switches ranging from 16A to 125A. The 16A, 25A, 32A, 40A and 63A disconnect switches are UL508 motor disconnect switches rated. The 30A, 63A, 80A, 100A and 125A disconnect switches are UL98 non fusible disconnect switch rated. This red rotary handle will work with any VLS3P disconnect switch. This 2.56 inch by 2.56 inch handle is mounted using four screws. 5 mm shafts are used with this handle. The front plate is yellow in color. The rotary handle will accept 1 to 3 padlocks that are 0.16 to 0.31 inch in diameter. Handle is marked 0 / OFF - 1 / ON. Handle is 2.56 inches tall, 2.56 inches wide and 2.28 inches deep. The handle weighs 0.16 lbs. This handle is NEMA 1, 3R, 12, 4 and 4X rated and IP65 rated. This handle is cULus Listed and meets IEC 60947-3 requirements.

- TeSys Vario Operating Handle: Safe External Operation The Schneider Electric VLSH2S5R is a high-performance rotary operating handle designed for use with TeSys Vario switch-disconnectors (specifically the V3, V4, V5, and V6 frame sizes). This handle allows Canadian operators to turn a main power switch "ON" or "OFF" from the outside of an electrical enclosure without ever opening the door, significantly reducing the risk of accidental contact with live 600V components.
- The "R" in the part number signifies the Red handle and Yellow bezel color scheme. According to international and Canadian safety standards, this specific color combination is reserved for Emergency Stop functions. It ensures that in a crisis, a worker in a Canadian sawmill or factory can instantly identify the disconnect as the primary means to kill power to the machine.
- This handle is built for the "real world." It carries a NEMA 4/4X and IP65 rating, meaning it is dust-tight, watertight, and corrosion-resistant.
