Description
Harmony 22 mm modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights are designed for industry. This range combines simplicity of setup, flexibility and a robust construction. An ingenious locking system consisting of a snap fit head and body that can be tightened with a single screw but still ensuring an easy and yet secure mounting. Harmony XB4/ZB4 are 22 mm chromium plated metal modular push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights connecting to fully metal mounting collar. The operators can be purchased as complete operators or various modules that can be assembled to meet the user’s specific requirement. Harmony XB5/ZB5 are 22 mm plastic modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights. The operator can have a round and square plastic bezel. 1 million cycle high endurance under 6A load allows less maintenance and damage in your installation. The contacts can be used for low load electrical contact and high power applications. Shake proof connection screws make periodic retightening unnecessary. A complete set of accessories to provide a solution for applications where exposure to high pressure cleaning, dust and extreme temperatures is an everyday occurrence. These harmony 22mm push buttons are used by machine manufacturers (automotive, textiles, timber) and control system panel builders. Certified and approved for meeting requirements throughout all continents: EN/IEC, UL, NEMA, CSA, CCC, Gost, JIS and many more. They have UL and CE markings and have ratings up to IP66 and IP69K.
Features
- This Harmony ZB premium electrical component features a 1 NO (Normally Open) + 1 NC (Normally Closed) double contact configuration utilizing high-reliability, slow-break switching logic. This integrated dual-circuit architecture allows panel builders to simultaneously route two completely distinct signaling states such as an automated logic runtime command and a hardware safety interlock path from a single physical block footprint.
- Rated for a conventional free-air thermal current ($I_{th}$) of 10 Amps and an operational insulation voltage of up to 600V conforming to IEC 60947-1, this heavy-duty contact block effortlessly manages demanding industrial signaling networks. The silver-nickel (AgNi) alloy contacts are optimized for AC-15 (240 V, 3 A or 120 V, 6 A) and DC-13 (125 V, 0.55 A) utilization categories, ensuring dependable electrical performance across both alternating and direct current grids.
- This product is classified strictly as a modular double contact block component and does not include a front-facing button or selector switch. To deploy it in a functional capacity, it must be snapped onto a standard Harmony fixing collar (such as the metal ZB4BZ009 or plastic ZB5AZ009) and paired with an industry-standard 22mm Harmony XB4 or XB5 control operator head.
- Built with a certified positive opening mechanism conforming to EN/IEC 60947-5-1 Appendix K, the Normally Closed path is structurally engineered to break the circuit even if a severe electrical fault has partially degraded the contacts. When the operator forces travel past 1.5mm, the internal safety gates mechanically shear apart any micro-welds, securing a reliable fault shutdown.
- Built for demanding multi-shift manufacturing environments, this contact block boasts an outstanding mechanical durability rating of 10,000,000 continuous operating cycles (with an electrical durability of 1,000,000 cycles under full load).
