Description
This Harmony ZB, double contact block uses screw-clamp terminals. It is compatible with Harmony XB4 and XB5 control and signaling units. This double contact block allows fast and easy replacement and configuration of your push buttons and selector switches. It is easily installed and replaced on XB4 and XB5 complete push-button units and selector switches and connects to control circuits with simple screw-clamp connections. It protects operators from unexpected contact with live circuits thanks to its IP20 protection index. 1 million cycle high endurance under 6A load allows less maintenance and damage in your installation. It has clear color scheme for NO and NC contact block types. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- This model features a DPST-NC (Double Pole Single Throw, 2 Normally Closed) configuration utilizing slow-break, standard contacts made of a robust silver alloy (Ag/Ni). It provides two independent circuits that open simultaneously when the actuator is pressed, making it ideal for redundant safety signaling or dual-line isolation in industrial control circuits.
- Rated for high-performance control logic, it features an AC-15 operational rating of 6A at 120VAC (and up to 3A at 240VAC), along with a DC-13 rating of 0.55 A at 125VDC. It provides highly reliable low-current switching down to 1mA under clean environments, ensuring crisp, bounce-free communication with your PLCs or automation relays while carrying a 10A conventional free air thermal current.
- Designed with industrial operator safety in mind, the ZBE204 includes certified positive opening functionality conforming to EN/IEC 60947-5-1 Appendix K. This mechanical guarantee ensures that the normally closed contacts will be forced open during an actuation, even if a minor weld occurs, making it a dependable choice for critical interlocks and stopping circuits.
- Built to survive extreme manufacturing plant floors, this contact block operates efficiently across a wide temperature spectrum from -40°C to 70°C and features an IP20 finger-safe rating to protect against accidental shock. With a vibration resistance rating of 5 gn (2 to 500 Hz) and shock resistance up to 50 gn, it prevents intermittent contact chatter in heavy machinery environments.
- The integrated screw clamp terminals are highly versatile, accepting up to two 1.5 square millimeter wires with cable ends, or a single 0.22 square millimeter wire without an end. The versatile screw head design accommodates Cross Pozidriv No. 1, 4 mm flat slotted, or 5.5 mm flat slotted screwdrivers, giving installers maximum flexibility with standard tool belts and accelerating wiring times during high-volume panel assembly.
