Description
This Harmony ZB, double contact block uses screw-clamp terminals. It is compatible with Harmony XB4 and XB5 control and signaling units. This double contact block allows fast and easy replacement and configuration of your push buttons and selector switches. It is easily installed and replaced on XB4 and XB5 complete push-button units and selector switches and connects to control circuits with simple screw-clamp connections. It protects operators from unexpected contact with live circuits thanks to its IP20 protection index. 1 million cycle high endurance under 6A load allows less maintenance and damage in your installation. It has clear color scheme for NO and NC contact block types. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- This standard 22mm contact block is engineered for seamless physical compatibility with both Harmony XB4 (metal) and Harmony XB5 (plastic) push-button and selector switch operator heads. It mounts directly onto standard fixing collars, allowing you to quickly scale or modify your layout without replacing entire switch assemblies.
- The unit features a double contact block configuration with 2 NO (Normally Open) standard contacts, utilizing premium silver alloy (Ag/Ni) for optimal electrical conductivity. This layout lets you control two separate circuits or signals simultaneously from a single actuator, minimizing panel clutter and reducing overall installation footprints.
- Built for demanding electrical loads, this block carries a conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) of 10A and is rated for heavy-duty industrial switching up to 6A at 120VAC or 3A at 240VAC (AC-15, A600 classification). It delivers dependable motor and relay signaling control while remaining safely protected against short-circuits via a standard 10A cartridge fuse.
- Equipped with robust screw clamp terminals, this component supports secure wiring connections up to 2 x 1.5 mm2 with cable ends or down to 1 x 0.22 mm2 for solid wire. The multi-driver screw heads are explicitly shaped to work with Pozidriv No. 1, 4mm flat, or 5.5mm flat screwdrivers, preventing cam-out and stripped screws during tight field wiring installation.
- Designed for high-frequency control applications, this slow-break mechanism boasts an exceptional mechanical durability rating of 10,000,000 operations and an electrical lifespan of 1,000,000 cycles under full load.
