Description
Tri-Onic® TRM time-delay midget fuses are rated 250 volts AC and are offered in ampere ratings from 1/10 to 30A. They have 12 seconds time-delay at 200% rating to provide supplemental protection of small motors, small transformers and other high inrush loads, plus many other 250 volt applications. (Not for Branch Circuit Protection).
Features
- The Tri-Onic TRM20 features an engineered 12-second time-delay at a 200% overcurrent rating. This built-in slow-blow characteristic absorbs the temporary high inrush current generated by small inductive motors and transformers, preventing nuisance blowing and eliminating costly, unnecessary downtime.
- This midget-class cartridge fuse handles applications up to 250VAC with a continuous 20A current rating and a 10kA interrupting capacity (I.R.). It delivers ideal supplemental overcurrent protection for control circuits, small transformers, and specialized lighting installations without prematurely breaking under normal load variances.
- Built to the universal industry-standard 5AG midget physical dimensions (10.3 mm times 38.1 mm or 13/32 inch times 1-1/2 inch), this ferrule-terminal cylindrical fuse provides drop-in compatibility with standard open-style clips, blocks, and finger-safe modules like the Mersen UltraSafe USM series. The tin-plated copper contacts resist oxidation over time, ensuring a secure fit and excellent electrical conductivity.
- This electrical component is fully UL Listed to Standard 248-14 (File E33925) and CSA Certified to Standard C22.2 No. 248.14.
