Description
Tri-Onic® TRM time-delay midget fuses are rated 250 volts AC and are offered in ampere ratings from 1/10 to 30A. They have 12 seconds time-delay at 200% rating to provide supplemental protection of small motors, small transformers and other high inrush loads, plus many other 250 volt applications. (Not for Branch Circuit Protection).
Features
- Engineered with a built-in 12-second time-delay at 200% rating, this Tri-Onic supplemental fuse absorbs harmless, temporary power surges without nuisance tripping. This specialized time-lag performance prevents unnecessary system downtime when starting up small motors, lighting circuits, or inductive transformers.
- This standard Midget-class cartridge fuse features a standard 10mm x 38mm (13/32-inch by 1-1/2-inch) cylindrical physical profile with high-conductivity ferrule terminals. It drops cleanly into standard clip-mount fuse blocks, open-style modules, or Mersen UltraSafe USM series finger-safe fuse holders.
- This low-voltage supplemental fuse is fully rated for 2 A at 250 VAC and delivers a solid 10 kA short-circuit interrupting rating (I.R.). It handles up to 250-volt control circuits and supplemental power loops, making it an ideal drop-in cross-reference replacement for older Ferraz Shawmut, Bussmann FNM-2, or Littelfuse FLM-2 models.
