Description
QO Load Centers offer premium features by allowing QO breakers, ground arc fault interrupters arc fault interrupters and surge arresters to be installed inside QO Load Centers enable the use of a full complement of accessories. Systems can be single or three phase and have indoor and outdoor versions. Indoor enclosures are designed to rotate 18 degrees to accommodate top or bottom service entrance feed which saves expensive service cable. QO Load Centers feature plated copper bus, providing superior performance and durability. This QO Generator Panel contains a main breaker and is rated at 3 A and 1 phase. This system provides 18 spaces in a NEMA 1 enclosure and it is Plug-on neutral load center. CQO load centers are CSA certified.

- This premium backup sub-panel features an innovative, factory-installed rotating interlock bracket that mechanically restricts the utility and generator main breakers from being switched "ON" at the same time. This fail-safe mechanical isolation prevents emergency generator current from backfeeding into local utility lines, completely protecting utility line workers while ensuring total compliance with Canadian safety codes during power outages.
- Built with Square D’s advanced Plug-on Neutral (PoN) architecture, this load center allows PoN Combination Arc Fault (CAFI) and Dual Function circuit breakers to snap directly onto the neutral bar. By eliminating the need for traditional pigtail wire connections, it reduces panel wiring clutter, improves airflow, and significantly accelerates installation and troubleshooting times for residential contractors.
- This single-phase, 120/240V AC panel provides 18 physical breaker spaces that can expand to accept up to 36 distinct circuits when utilizing QO tandem breakers. This high density gives you ample room to safely route all essential home circuits—such as your refrigerator, freezer, heating zones, internet routers, lights, and sump pump—into a single backup hub powered by your portable or standby generator.
- This unit comes factory-equipped with a 30 Amp main breaker configuration, making it perfectly optimized for matching standard 120/240V mid-sized portable or permanent standby generators. The heavy-duty internal architecture safely manages continuous emergency electrical loads, stabilizing power delivery across your essential home grid while preventing premature breaker wear.
- Housed in a NEMA 1 indoor-rated enclosure with a surface/flush-mountable combination trim cover and door, the internal bus assembly is designed to easily rotate 180 degrees. This field-reversible versatility allows the main service entry to feed seamlessly from either the top or bottom of the enclosure, eliminating the need to redirect or purchase expensive, heavy-gauge service entrance cables.
- This generator sub-panel is manufactured with premium plated copper busbars that deliver exceptional electrical conductivity and thermal performance. The robust plating shields the structural bus from oxidization and localized heat buildup, securing a low-resistance connection for any snap-in QO circuit breaker and ensuring long-term reliability in varying Canadian humidity conditions.
