Description
Conducts an automatic test every three seconds, ensuring it's always ready to protect. If the device fails the test, the indicator light flashes to signal that the GFCI should be replaced. It also has our proven SafeLock® Protection - if critical components are damaged and ground fault protection is lost, power to the receptacle is disconnected. Features
- Protects against shock caused by ground-fault occurrences. GFCI receptacles make it easier to fix trips with a reset button right on the device.
- Power-indicating green LED provides visual indication of power being present at the receptacle.
- Hospital Grade GFCIs are subjected to additional performance requirements, including reliability, integrity, strength and durability tests.
- Enhanced tamper-resistant automatic shutter system allows for easier plug insertion while inhibiting young children or others from inserting objects.
- Conducts an industry-leading automatic self-test every 3 seconds. The trip indicator light flashes if the device fails the self-test, signaling the GFCI is to be replaced.
