Description

The PowerLogic ION8650 series meters are ideal for energy, power quality metering and independent power producers. These meters offer a wide versatility of feature and total performance. The meter can be the solution for transmission or distribution network. The modular, flexible ION technology architecture enables a simple, building block approach for customizing each meter to any application. Enable for the user acces to the analysis of energy, bill verification, cost allocation and more. And a number of power quality reporting. With 32 MB of memory to support data logs, alarms, RMS logging, historical logs, event logs, revenue logs, GPS synch and Time of Use. The ability to timestamp events to +/-1 ms utilizing time synchronization methods that include SNTP, IRIG-B, GPS ASCII (RS485) and network time set function. Providing 1024 samples per cycle with Voltage inputs of 57-277 VAC L-N / 100-480 VAC L-L; Current inputs of 1 A, 2 A, and 5 A. Wide control power range of 57-277 VAC or external power source: pigtail 65-120 VAC or 80-160 VDC. Onboard input output configurtion include 1 digital input, 2 pulse + 1 solid state + 4 relay outputs plus up to 3 dry contact sensing inputs. Multiple communication ports include: RS232/RS485, RS485, Infrared (ANSI type II) and Ethernet 10/100 BASE-T. Mechanical dimensions are 178 mm in height, 178 mm in width and 237 mm in depth, for a product weight of 7 kg. Socket form factor, setting available in 9S/29S/36S Base wiring 3-Element, 4-Wire / 2 1/2-Element, 4-Wire. With integrated display. Operating environment of -40 to +85C; Humidity rating of 5% to 95%; Altitude up to 3000 m. You can find the following accessories for ION8650: some input/output expanders, A-base adaptors and communication cable. Integration with EcoStruxure Power Operations software through multiple communication channels and protocols, Including Itron MV-90, Modbus, DNP, DLMS, IEC 61850. These meters give utilities the tools to manage complex energy supply contracts that include commitments to power quality.
