Description
RXM miniature relays are part of Harmony Electromechanical Relays. This is a plug in relay to be mounted on a RXZE socket. It is a 4 C/O relay with current rating of 6A, control circuit voltage of 24 V DC. It also offers one-step loackable test button and mechanical indicator for contact status. The testbutton is activated momentarily by pushing the blue pushbutton on the front and locked by flipping up the green part. The mechanical indicator is next to the testbutton, where an orange flag indicates the relay contact status. A green LED on the front will illuminate when the relay is on. Status display with LED: clearly signal both in the day and night. Its design is fit for industrial machines, packaging, textile, HVAC, automation control panels, low/medium voltage switchgear, motor controls, PLC Interfaces, power supplies, building or medical equipment, lighting controls. It conforms to international standards and certifications like IEC, CE, UL, CSA, EAC, Lloyd's, RoHS and REACH. RXM Relay should be used with a RXZE socket (screw clamp, screw connector, push-in terminal). To protect against vibrations, plastic/metal clamp can be added to the socket. Protection modules and marking legend are also available. It is sold in lots of 10 and reference includes relay only. The RXM plug-in relays are a series of industrial plug-in relays designed for both simple and complex automation systems and available with 2 CO (12A), 3 CO (10A), 4 CO (6A) contacts, 4 CO (3A) low level contacts.
Features
- The RXM4AB2BD is an industrial-grade miniature relay from the Harmony Electromechanical range. It acts as a remote switch, allowing a low-power control signal from a PLC or sensor to manage higher-power loads. This 4-pole relay is designed to plug directly into a socket (such as the RXZE2M114M), facilitating fast installation and tool-free replacement in complex automation panels.
- Featuring a 4 C/O (4PDT) contact arrangement, this relay can simultaneously switch four independent electrical circuits. With a conventional thermal current rating of 6 Amps, it is the ideal solution for interlocking logic, signaling, and controlling multiple auxiliary loads like solenoid valves, small motors, or contactor coils from a single input.
- This specific model is engineered for 24V DC control circuits, the gold standard for modern industrial automation and safety systems. The high-quality coil is designed for low power consumption and reliable pull-in, ensuring consistent performance even in environments where voltage drops might occur over long wire runs.
- The RXM4AB2BD is equipped with an integrated mechanical indicator and a green LED. These dual visual cues allow maintenance personnel to see the status of the relay at a glance even in dark or crowded cabinets drastically reducing troubleshooting time and simplifying "dead-circuit" verification during service calls.
- This relay features a lockable "Test Button" on the front housing. This allows technicians to manually force the contacts to change state, enabling the testing of downstream field devices or control logic without having to energize the entire PLC system. The button is color-coded to identify the DC voltage type quickly.
