Description
This Harmony RM22TG control relay allows monitoring of power supply circuits in 3-phase networks. This modular 3-phase control relay is ideal for monitoring of electrical values in industrial and building control panels. It applies to a wide type of industrial automation applications such as hoisting, packaging, lifts, textile, water. It has one of market slim form-factors with 22.5mm width, allowing for a flexible and easy installation on DIN rail, using the same space as any modular 1-pole DIN device. It also offers a selectable memory function, integral LED for indicating control status, sealable cover, with simple and precise settings with screw trimmers. It provides automatic shutdown management and fault information to user for a quick fault identification and troubleshooting. Features
- Part of the Harmony Control Relays range, the RM22TG20 is purpose-built to track both phase sequence (rotation direction) and phase failure (loss of two or more phases) across 3-phase networks. This instant power supply monitoring protects expensive downstream three-phase motors from running in reverse or single-phase, preventing catastrophic mechanical damage and coil burnouts
- This self-powered monitoring module operates seamlessly over a broad measurement spectrum spanning 183 V to 528 V AC across 50/60 Hz networks. It naturally covers standard industrial infrastructure voltages like 208 V and 240 V allowing you to standardize on one inventory component for diverse multi-voltage panel projects.
- The relay integrates a heavy-duty 2 C/O (changeover, DPDT) contact configuration with a maximum switching current of 8 A at 250 V AC. These independent, cadmium-free contacts provide plenty of switching capacity to simultaneously drop power to an upstream contactor coil and trip a localized indicator light when a phase fault strikes.
- Housed in an ultra-slim 22.5 mm wide modular enclosure, this relay occupies the same footprint as a standard 1-pole circuit breaker on a symmetrical 35 mm DIN rail. This compact profile frees up vital panel real estate, simplifying refurbishment projects and allowing machine builders to pack advanced protection into tight layouts.
- Featuring an ultra-fast internal response time of 200 milliseconds or less, the system isolates anomalies before they can induce mechanical strain on active machinery. Clear front-facing dual LEDs give technicians instant diagnostic clarity—a green light confirms incoming power is healthy, while a yellow indicator confirms the active status of the output relay.
- Built with a robust, self-extinguishing plastic housing, the module features a rugged electrical lifespan up to 100,000 cycles and mechanical endurance of 10 million operations. The design includes an option for a sealable, transparent front cover that stops unauthorized setting adjustments while maintaining an IP20 terminal and IP50 front-face finger-safe barrier.
