Miniature Circuit Breaker 20A 1-Pole 120/240VAC 10kA Bolt-On Mount
Features
- The QOB120 is a 20-Amp, 1-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. The "B" in QOB stands for Bolt-On. Unlike the standard "Plug-On" QO breakers used in residential panels, this version is designed to be bolted directly to the interior bus bar of a Square D NQ or NQOD panelboard, ensuring a secure, vibration-proof connection in commercial and industrial settings.
- This breaker features the iconic Visi-TripTM indicator, a highly visible red window that appears when the breaker has tripped. This allows maintenance staff to identify a faulted circuit instantly in a crowded panel without having to manually test every handle, significantly reducing troubleshooting time.
- The QOB120 is engineered with a high-speed switching mechanism that operates independently of the handle speed. This "Quick-Make, Quick-Break" design minimizes the duration of internal arcing during the switching process, which drastically extends the life of the breaker and ensures reliable performance over decades of service.
- With a standard 10,000 AIR (Amperes Interrupting Rating) at 120V, this breaker is capable of safely clearing significant fault currents. It is designed to protect branch circuits for lighting, receptacles, and small motors, providing a robust safety barrier that prevents catastrophic damage to your building's electrical infrastructure.
- SWD (Switching Duty): It is rated to be used as a primary switch for fluorescent lighting loads. HACR Rated: It is fully certified for use with Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration equipment, making it a versatile choice for mechanical room power distribution.
