Description

PowerPacT J-Frame automatic switches are a disconnect device and can be used to open and close a circuit under normal operating conditions. The automatic switches are similar in construction, use the same accessories, and offer the same connection possibilities as the J-Frame circuit breaker version. The switches have a factory set, nonadjustable trip point calibrated to protect the molded case switch. The automatic switch can make and break its rated current. PowerPacT J-Frame switches are available in unit mount, I-Line, plug in, or drawout constructions. This switch has I-Line terminations on the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side. This PowerPacT J, 250A, 2 pole, automatic switch has a short circuit withstand current rating of 18kA at 600VAC. It has an AC phase connection. PowerPacT J automatic switches comply to UL, CSA, ANCE, and IEC standards.
